Ski Alpe d’Huez

Skiing and Boarding
at Alpe d'Huez

Alpe d’Huez is situated on a fully south-facing plateau at 1860m. Also called “The Island in the Sunshine”, the resort enjoys lots of sunshine

Two days in Alpes d’Huez are included in your 6 day ski pass for Les Deux Alpes.  Lauvitel Lodge is particularly well situated to take full advantage of this opportunity.  With only a 30 minute drive you have access to another remarkable domain of the French Alps for both on-piste and off-piste skiing.

For beginners there are the wide, open slopes leading down to the resort.  For intermediate skiers there are red runs leading in every direction from Alpette to Vaujany and Oz, from Signal to Villard Reculas, and from Signal de l’Homme to Auris-en -Oisans.  And for Experts you may wish to take on the challenges of Le Tunnel, the delight of La Sarenne (16 km, making it the longest black run in Europe), or the off-piste from Les Rousses and Pic Blanc.
