Deepen your personal wellbeing practice by exploring the art of Reiki energy work.
- in need of a holiday out in Nature?
- curious about Reiki and what it can do for you?
- wanting to know how to heal your mind, body and spirit?
- needing to retreat from the stress and demands of everyday life?
If the answer is yes to one or more of these questions, our Reiki Well-being Retreat in the heart of French Alps will be just right for you. The Retreat will be led by a certified Reiki Master and accredited life coach, Dr Caroline Purkhardt.
Around the summer solstice, Nature’s life energy reaches its peak levels. Our Reiki Wellbeing Retreat is designed to take advantage of this and help you restore mind-body connection whilst getting in tune with the rhythm of the natural world.
Throughout the Retreat we will be exploring the traditional Japanese art of Reiki and using T’ai-Chi Kung moving meditation to assist you in finding your inner balance. We will also enjoy the exceptional natural surroundings of Lauvitel Lodge: the nearby mountain lakes, forests, cool running rivers and alpine meadows.
The Reiki Wellbeing Retreat is structured around the natural elements and our ability to connect with, utilise and enhance their distinctive energies. Each day will be dedicated to exploring in depth one of the following themes:
- The Elements of Earth and Sky: Being grounded, connected and centered.
- The Element of Air: Transforming duality into unity.
- The Element of Water: Living in the unknown.
- The Element of Wood: Finding your voice and creating from there.
- The Element of Fire: Passionately engaging in action.
What will you gain from the retreat?
Our participants from previous Retreats report experiencing peace of mind, as well as heightened levels of energy. The retreat is designed to not only let you experience new things throughout your stay at Lauvitel Lodge. We want you to take those practices back home, so they can improve your daily life far beyond the duration of the Retreat.
Here is what one of the previous participants had to say:
“In June 2016, I discovered Lauvitel Lodge during a Reiki retreat. This was an amazing experience: Tai chi, chi gong, meditation, hiking, initiation to Reiki, amazing food, super comfortable room, great views, peaceful garden and most of all: extraordinary people running the place. I have travelled all over the world but this is one of my top 5 best places on earth. I’ve come back a different person. Thanks Caroline for having given me more faith In myself. I’ll never ever forget that first stay ( of many to come) at Lauvitel Lodge.” – Céline Maginel
Our intention is to pass on the knowledge and understanding of Reiki, its history and principles, as well as empower you to incorporate Reiki practices into your life.
How a Day Might Look
Each day during the Reiki Wellbeing Retreat will follow a similar rhythm.
We will start the day with a morning practice on the Deck before breakfast. This will include Moving Meditation and T’ai Chi Kung practices to introduce the theme for the day.
Following breakfast, the morning session (1,5-2 hours) will focus on Reiki. During this time, we will be gradually introducing practices such the Reiki Scan, Auto-Reiki for yourself, The Reiki Boost and giving Reiki to others.
The Reiki session will be followed by a lunch break.
The afternoons will be the time for accompanied or unaccompanied walks in and around La Danchere. The possibilities are numerous and include The Lake Walk, The Forest Walk, The River Walk or a trip to La Berarde. All hikes can be adapted according to your fitness and preferences.
The evening session before dinner will focus on the meditation practices and visualizations that accompany Reiki training. We will design them so that you are able to continue these practices once you have returned home.
The dinner and the time after is intended for socializing, self-time, rest and simply enjoying warm summer evenings.
The program, although rich in activities, also leaves some free time for yourself. This is when you can go for a walk, exercise, read a book, journal or simply spend time with others in the garden. There is also an option of booking a massage or an additional private session with Caroline (Reiki, T’ai Chi or personal coaching session).
