On the agenda: guided moving meditation (even for skeptics), energy dynamics with T’ai Chi; skiing, hiking, snowshoeing or magical forest walks; sharing humor and experiences with a group of like-minded couples. Of course, sleeping, just sitting by the fire, and getting a massage are all available options to you as well.

- Burn Your Legs Off Ski Day (optional)

- 8:00 – 8:30 – Guided Moving Meditation (even for skeptics)

- 2:30 – 7:30 – Rest, tea & drinks, free time (massages available if scheduled in advance)

Caroline Purkhardt has been running Lauvitel Lodge for over ten years now. During that time, she organised and led multiple group and personal retreats focused on personal development, creative leadership and spiritual growth. She has recently published a book called Stillness in Action, which is an actionable manual of her coaching methods.
Having a PhD degree in Social Psychology, and at the same time being a certified Reiki Master, T’ai-Chi Kung Teacher and Life Coach, Caroline combines recent scientific findings with experiential practices of moving meditation and energy work. She believes that drawing on our connection with Nature is one of the best short-cuts towards self-realization.
Caroline’s ultimate mission is to bring body wisdom and spiritual connection into busy workplaces and organisations.
About Lauvitel Lodge
Lauvitel Lodge is a mountain getaway in the heart of the French Alps: the Oisans valley famous for cycling and skiing. It is a place for family gatherings, holidays with friends, as well as a base for well-being retreats which are held here on a regular basis.
The Lodge provides a comfortable place to rest and relax in between various mountain adventures. You can enjoy a fresh and delicious meal, coffee, or simply use one of our terraced gardens to read a book or nap in a hammock. There is a wide offer of wellbeing services, too: massage, Reiki, Tai-Chi and wellness coaching.
The beautiful natural surroundings of the Lodge are comprised of magnificent mountain peaks, crystal clear lakes, running rivers and pristine forests. The exceptional landscape makes it a perfect place to reconnect with your true self and simply take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
How to get there?
Lauvitel Lodge is located in a small hamlet of La Danchere, about one-hour drive from Grenoble, which is also the closest train station. If you are travelling by plane, the closest airports are Lyon, Geneva or Turin. You can contact us directly if you need help with travel arrangements.
Fees & What’s Included
Lodge accommodation with linens & meals, nature hikes, and activities facilitated by professional coach, T’ai Chi and Reiki Master, Caroline Purkhardt. Prices range from 475 -575 euros per couple depending on the number of nights.
- 2 night stay: €475 per couple for the entire weekend
- 3 night stay: €575 per couple for the entire weekend
The first 3 couples who register will have an en-suite bathroom in their room.
Extra costs: optional ski day, snowshoe rental, massage, alcoholic beverages
What to bring
- Comfortable clothing for Tai-chi/Reiki sessions
- A pull-over for chilly evenings
- Comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for hiking
- Waterproof jacket
- Hiking boots
- Journal and/or a good book
- Water bottle
- Sunglasses and sun cream
